Countdown's On....

I admit it....I'm a sucker for reality TV. Especially the Bachelor. Yeah yeah..so they hardly EVER work out, but hey..its still one of my faves. With that said, the Bachelorette will be on in 18 days! Woo Hoo! Loved Jillian from the beginning. Love the way she says "again" and she has AMAZING hair! That girl wakes up with it in place! So if you've never seen it....you're missing out!

Mickey & Minnie's Magical Journey

We had so much fun at Disney on Ice! It was such a joy to see Trevin's face light up when he saw Mickey Mouse. Makes me even more anxious to get my kiddos to Disney World!

A Day in the World of Preschoolers

What a day! Today was parent day at Trevin's school. Parents were invited to spend the day with their little one. Trevin and I were SO excited! He's always asking to go to my school so it was a good trade to go to his. They ride a bus to the upper elementary school for lunch, and yep Mom got to ride too. Woo Hoo! Love those school buses. After lunch it was outside play. Nap. Then bubbles. Trevin opted to leave before nap. Do ya blame him? Here are some pictures from our day!

New Use For Duct Tape

Cooper has a bad habit of taking his diaper off during bedtime. You can imagine the mess! So the other night my hubby tells me that he's solved the problem. Out comes Coop wearing this! Needless to say, we no longer have a problem with him taking his diaper off!

Destruction Photos

Here is an update on things here. My sisters house was barely clipped in the back. Ty's grandparents house was barely touched on the side. Prais the Lord! The houses all around them were hit really bad. God definietely had his hand over them. Kim's tahoe was smashed to pieces but vehicles can be replaced! Please continue to pray for all of those affected. So many are without power, vehicles, and homes. It will be a long road, but things will start looking up.

This is Trevin's teacher's family tractor business. (get that?)

Please Pray

Our town of Mena was hit by a tornado a couple of hours ago. My sister and her husband just bought a house right in the middle of where it hit. They haven't moved into it yet b/c they are doing a lot of remodeling to it. The thought never crossed my mind that they would be at the house working.....We always send each other texts to let each other know we're okay when there's a tornado around. I sent my text to both of my sisters and never received one back. I didn't panic, just kept trying to get ahold of Kim (the one who is in town). I knew my other sis was ok b/c there wasn't a tornado in her area. My bro in law called my husband to let us know that they were ok but their house was hit (they were in it) and my sis's tahoe was demolished. Then I started freaking out. I'm the scattered one of the family that can't hold back emotions. I immediately started bawling and begging Ty to take me to her. I needed to see for myself that they were ok. Of course he took me, but they had EVERYTHING blocked off so we couldn't get through. Our cell phones are in and out so I still (2 1/2 hours later) haven't been able to talk to her. At least she's ok. I know that GOD was with her and her family. There's a reason I pray for the safety of each and every family member every day! =) Please pray for all of those affected. Ty is in town right now (he's a little stubborn and determined). He is checking up on Kim and Damon along with his grandparents (whose house was also hit).

Easter Projects

Nothing like waiting til last minute. Here's a look at the Easter crafts that I made this past week. We'll get to enjoy them for a week anyways! =)

I bought this glass jar at TJ Maxx for $10! I absolutely love it. I plan on adding something festive each month. For April I bought some paper mache goose eggs at Hobby Lobby for $0.34 each! (Love the 1/2 off items) A little craft paint and there you go!

Another Hobby Lobby find....$2 Easter egg wall plaque with craft paint, once again. Anybody see a pattern here?
And my fave....the boys' Easter baskets. I absolutely LOVE Pottery Barn, but hello I'm not going to spend $40 for a basket with a liner, so I made my own! My sweet MIL embroidered them for me. I keep her practiced up!

Smamich, please!

Ok-so I love to think back at the oh so cute things that my kids say, but hey....I don't have the best memory. So thankfully I can refer back to my blog and wahlah! instant remembering. We were eating at one of our favorite places, Cruizzers (like a sonic but way BETTER!), when Trevin asks for a grilled cheese smamich. I lean back to him and tell him to say "SANDwich" stressing the sand. So he looks at me like I'm a dummy and says (very slowly) SSMMMAAmich. When I was in college, one of my professors said that sometimes kids really do think they're saying it correctly. So true...I have a little girl in my class and she calls me Ms. Punklett. When the other kids look at her and say, "It's Plunkett." She looks at them with a duh, thats what I said! Gotta love kids!
