Easter 2011

I am so blessed to have the family that I do!  We spent Easter together with my mom in Poteau.  We started the day by going to church.  I used to live in Poteau so it was so fun to see some old friends!  After church, we ate dinner and had an egg hunt for the kids.  The pictures are limited because it was FREEZING outside!  I snapped a few just to have some. Here is my mom getting the brisket ready.  It was delicious!

Here are the boys before they changed into their play clothes.  (Notice the HUGE bruise on Coop’s leg? It’s from working cattle with his daddy the day before.  Nice touch don’t ya think!)

Here are the boys hunting eggs.  Madox found his first one and sat down to eat ALL the candy in it.  Poor thing only got two eggs!

A Musical: Kindergarten Style

Trevin had his kindergarten musical.  SO CUTE! He was completely nervous and didn’t want to do it.  He even turned down a speaking part!  He has just a little bit of my shyness :) Lucky for him, he was placed in the dead center on the front row.  He gave me a warning before it started: “Mom, you can watch, but don’t cheer.”  Haha!  Who would have thought that a kindergartener would be concerned that his mom would embarrass him! 

  

After the show we posed for some quick pictures.  It’s getting harder and harder to get a good pic of all 3 boys!  They usually fight over who gets to hold Madox’s hand and Madox let’s them know that he doesn’t like it!

(Looking at this pic makes me miss my long hair.  =(  I recently  got ALOT of my hair cut off. Thankfully my hair grows really fast!)

I can’t believe Trevin’s kindergarten year is coming to an end!  Only 5 more weeks!
