Mother's Day is so special to me because it's a reminder of these 3 special blessings in my life!
I mentioned to Ty a while back that I wanted some tools of my own because I couldn't ever find his when I needed them. He's a good listener. I found this awesome zebra toolbox and may have mentioned that I wanted one of these too. =) So today, the boys came in with this: If you're gonna have a girly toolbox, you must have some girly tools! This is what it was filled with:
Last night my sisters and I took my mom out for Mother's Day. We went to eat at an Italian restaurant called Spinelli's.
Kim and Mama
Me and Brianne
Mama opening her gift
Last, we headed to the movies to watch The Last Song
I'm so thankful for my mama. She is the most positive, loving, christian woman I know. I'm so glad God chose her to be my mama!
I was cleaning out my filing cabinet at school the other day (Hooray! Only 19 more days!!) and I came across this incomplete man test. It's a test for 2 1/2 to 6 year olds that tests their development. They're supposed to finish the man by drawing in the missing parts. I brought it home to have my boys do it. Here's the before......
and the after...... Trevin..perfect, except he didn't add the pupils...ummm I don't even add the pupil when I'm drawing a person. Cooper on the other hand...well, I guess I need to be working with him. However, he did say "Hey, that's not fair, Trevin's has 2 ears!" On a side note, I got word that Trevin scored in the top 5 on his kindergarten entrance test! Woo Hoo!!
I have been married to my AMAZING husband Ty for 7 1/2 years. We have three beautiful boys, Trevin, Cooper, and Madox. I teach kindergarten, so I am blessed to be a stay at home mom in the summer! Some of the things that I love: sewing, crafting, playing with my kids, blogging, taking pictures, the Razorbacks, dates with my hubby (though they're few and far between!), shopping, Pottery Barn, hot chocolate on a cold day. I am obsessive about organization and keeping a clean house. Most importantly I love to go to church. The Lord is our family's foundation, he takes care of us through impossible situations.
